Inaugural CASC Gender Healthcare Summit ~ Featuring International and National Experts.
This summit will examine gender-affirming care as practised by the medical profession in Australia. It will consider the evidence for it and its impact on children, young people and families. Recent international developments and court cases, and alternative approaches to sex/gender-related distress in young people, will be explored.
6:30pm doors for 7:00pm start, Friday 17th Oct for dinner with Queensland based Psychiatrist, Dr. Jillian Spencer
8:15am for 9:00am start, Saturday 18th Oct for conference with keynote speakers Dr. Riittakerttu Kaltiala (FINLAND), and Dr. Helen Joyce (IRELAND).
Along with our Keynote Speakers our program will also welcome QLD based Paediatrician DR. DYLAN WILSON, Melbourne based Barrister BELLE LANE, Melbourne based Psychiatrist DR. ALISON CLAYTON, Adelaide based Psychiatrist DR. PATRICK CLARKE, NSW based Psychiatrist DR. ROBERTO D’ANGELO, and QLD based Psychiatrist DR. ANDREW AMOS.
