The Australian Psychoanalytical Society have their open days and public lecture will showcase the contemporary nature and relevance of psychoanalysis in today’s rapidly changing world.

The conference’s focus is on how to work with archaic states of mind, that is, states of mind where there is a poorly developed sense of self. Alina Schellekes, distinguished keynote speaker and psychoanalyst, President of the Frances Tustin Memorial Trust, and member of the Israeli Psychoanalytic Society, will be joined by Australian analysts who will present papers and participate in discussions, workshops and lunch time groups.
